Day 19

July 27, 2013

The one with positivity.

It’s random a day of exploring Tarifa. Somehow, even in such a beautiful laid-back town, we hear so much bad news again, on the internet, on tv screens in a bar, etc. It feels like the media locks me into a negative world. Like Tim wrote yesterday: “People are living in a world full of fear.” To be honest, I can’t blame them when you look at the media. I, myself, don’t read newspapers and don’t watch the news. Mostly because I like positive news. Which can be found on websites like GOOD, TED and Medium.

So I recommend you, next time instead of reading the newspaper during your breakfast, just to go to GOOD. And I promise you, your day will be different, knowing that there are more people in this world who give a damn.

GOOD is a global community of, by, and for pragmatic idealists working towards individual and collective progress.

Good.is is the platform for collaboration amongst members of the GOOD community and the organizations and corporations that work with the GOOD community.

GOOD Magazine is the quarterly print publication that reflects the activity and work of the GOOD community, both on and offline

GOOD Corps is a team of social entrepreneurs who work with NGOs, corporations and foundations to drive progress in collaboration with the GOOD community and beyond.

These efforts are organized and coordinated from our headquarters in Los Angeles, USA, where we pursue the mission to convene, connect, and empower all of us who give a damn.
